CANDIDATE STATEMENT

I have been on the Lane Electric board for over 12 years and currently the Secretary. I have held all offices and chaired numerous committees. Being on the board is a big commitment and lots of work. We recently acquired the lower McKenzie with a takeover date of May 1st. There is much planning to prepare are making sure that the transition is as smooth as we can. Also, ensuring that we have the staff and programs in place. The board approved an updated meter installation that should be finished in our current territory soon and continue in our new territory in May. We are working on being direct members to Bonneville. My goals are to continue providing value to members, keep costs reasonable, and provide for a safe workplace. We have a lot of work ahead with new issues always coming up. The members have invested in me and I want to make sure they get that investment.
