In 2026, directors representing Oakridge, McKenzie, and Central Districts are up for reelection.
The board’s primary duties include setting policy, approving budgets, working with the general manager, and monitoring the cooperative’s operations. The board of directors meets about 18 times during the year. Standard board meetings are held on the fourth Wednesday of the month and generally run from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. They typically require at least equal time for preparation and study. In addition to the regular monthly meetings, the board occasionally needs to convene a workshop, special session, or committee meeting. All those who represent the cooperative are expected to strive for respectful, collaborative interactions with the staff, board, and community.
