Lane Electric Discontinues Ruralite Magazine In March

In November, the Lane Electric Board of Directors approved the 2026 operating budget.

Staff and the board gave careful consideration to how we can keep costs in check for you, our member-owners.

With that in mind, one change you’ll see in March is the retirement of Ruralite magazine. We made the difficult decision to move away from this publication in lieu of a new quarterly newsletter that focuses solely on news from the cooperative.

We also recently launched a monthly email to keep you informed of timely news. You’ll still see member stories, like this month’s feature on Pat LaMora.

Ways to Stay Current With Lane Electric News

• Quarterly newsletter: Mailed and emailed in April, July, October, and January.
• Monthly email: Sent midmonth.
• Social media: Follow @LaneElectricCooperative on Facebook.
