Scholarships Applications Open Soon

Applications for Scholarships and the NRECA Youth Tour Open on November 16

As your member-owned cooperative, Lane Electric proudly provides opportunities to support and encourage lifelong learning.

This year, more than $20,000 in scholarships are available to residents of the cooperative’s service territory and their dependents to pursue their academic or vocational goals.

Additionally, the cooperative offers an exclusive opportunity for high school juniors.

For more than 50 years, teens from rural America have been offered the unique opportunity to visit Washington, D.C. as part of the National Rural Electric Cooperative Association (NRECA) Youth Tour. Roughly 2,000 delegates and staff from electric cooperatives around the country will get to meet their elected officials, tour Capitol Hill, visit America’s historic monuments and museums, and hear featured speakers discuss the important roles electric cooperatives play in our communities.
