What member district am I in?

Lower McKenzie members will fall into two districts. Those east of Ross Lane will be part of the McKenzie District.

Those who reside west of Ross Lane will be part of the Central District.

You can find a map of Lane Electric's service territory here.

New Member Guide

We know there is a lot involved with switching your electric provider.

This New Member Guide provides an overview of the programs and services Lane Electric offers. It also provides helpful details for outages, ways to pay your bill, and more.

Board of Director Election

On May 1, you will officially be a member of the cooperative. As a co-op, our governance structure is different than that of the Eugene Water and Electric Board (EWEB). Lane Electric is governed by seven board members, elected by the members. In welcoming you, our new members from the McKenzie Valley, the cooperative restructured our board districts.

In addition to an elected director from the McKenzie District, which runs from Ross Lane to Belknap Springs, lower valley residents will also have representation in our Central District.

This year, board members representing McKenzie, Central, and Oakridge Districts are up for reelection. While you are not yet members, the Board of Directors voted to allow new members from the lower McKenzie to run for the board in this year’s election. Those interested in running can apply during the petition window, March 13-23.

You'll find information on how to apply here.

New Member Application Form

The most important step in moving toward your new service is filing a new member application form. This ensures we have all of your correct information and billing preferences on file.

All applications received by March 31 will be entered into a drawing to win a credit on your first Lane Electric bill.

Three winners will be selected.

New Member Information Sessions

On March 3 and 4, Lane Electric will hold three information sessions between Vida and Walterville.

At that time, General Manager Scott Coe and the cooperative team will share upcoming plans for the McKenzie and address questions regarding account setup, services, and programs for EWEB members who will soon be transferring to Lane Electric service.

We hope to see you there.
